About Nerdulator
Nerdulator takes one value (a number, a date, a measurement, a colour, a word, an IP address) and derives everything that can be calculated, converted or represented from it. Deterministically, with no AI in the loop.
No AI in the answer
Nerdulator makes zero model calls. Recognising your input is regular expressions and lookup tables; producing the answer is arithmetic. That is a deliberate constraint rather than a limitation. It means the same input always gives the same page, every number can be checked, and a page costs almost nothing to serve.
Computed, not looked up
Almost everything here is derived from your input at request time. The exceptions are genuine reference datasets (unit definitions, the CSS named colours, the periodic table, physical constants, country data), and each of those states its own source and version on the page that uses it. Where a value is a convention rather than a measurement, or an estimate rather than a fact, the page says so.
Ambiguity is shown, not resolved
336699 is both a number and a colour. 03/04/2020 is two different days depending on which side of the Atlantic you are on. Where a reading is genuinely ambiguous, Nerdulator renders every reading it is confident about and lets you pick, rather than guessing quietly and being wrong half the time.
Not every page gets indexed
Nerdulator can generate effectively unlimited URLs, which is exactly why it does not advertise them all. A page is only offered to search engines when it carries at least 5 substantive facts, has real prose and structure, is the canonical address for its content, and is not an unbounded combination such as an arbitrary arithmetic expression. Everything else still works; it just is not in the sitemap.
What it will not do
It will not convert currencies, because exchange rates are live data and a cached rate presented as a fact is worse than no answer. It will not fetch a URL or verify an email address. It will not tell you the population of a country as though that were a constant. Anything that changes while you are not looking is either versioned and labelled, or absent.
